As of my last update, I do not have information on events occurring in 2026. However, generally, abundant rainfall in Central Australia can temporarily transform the desert landscape by filling dry riverbeds, creating ephemeral lakes, and promoting the growth of vegetation and wildflowers. This can lead to a temporary increase in biodiversity and attract various wildlife to the region.
